Event Rental
Event rental is the route by which almost all the kit for a production arrives: it is hired for a few days, rigged, operated and returned. Rental equipment for productions and events
A rental stock is measured by two things: what it holds, and the condition it comes back in. Behind every job there is inspection, cleaning, a complete loom, up-to-date firmware and a flightcase that arrives intact. Hiring is organised into coherent packages — a PA system with its processing, a lighting rig with its control, the video element with its signal distribution — rather than loose units, because what is really being hired is a rig that works.
Logistics is half the job. Load-in and load-out windows, technical crew travelling with the kit, get-in and get-out times, a contingency plan and backup equipment for anything that cannot stop.
