Rental sound equipment for events and live production
A hired sound reinforcement system is sized against the venue and the capacity. Line array handles the long throws with coupled cabinets and controlled directivity; subs are arranged in an arc, cardioid or end-fire array to govern the low end; front fills and delays cover the zones the main system does not reach. Acoustic prediction decides the number of cabinets, the angles and the hanging points before the truck leaves the warehouse.
Behind that come amplification and processing: amplifiers with DSP, transport over Dante or AVB networks, time alignment and system equalisation, along with the digital consoles at FOH and monitors, the wireless microphones with their frequency plan, and the in-ears. It is all deployed and struck within a short window, with technical crew who rig, tune and operate. It is the same ground as event sound, seen from the stock of professional sound equipment available by date.
