Technology and equipment for event production
The kit for an event falls into a handful of families that recur almost every time. The technical side leads: audio, lighting, video and projection, control and signal distribution. Underneath sits what holds it up — truss, stands, decking, marquees and temporary structures — and the electrical distribution that feeds it. Around that, the equipment that furnishes the space: furniture, stands and counters, signage and decorative elements that define how the room looks.
What distinguishes an event product from any other is the use it gets: it is rigged and de-rigged many times over, it travels, it is installed against the clock and it has to hold up. Hence weight, transport volume, speed of rigging and reliability matter as much as performance.
