Technology and equipment for professional lighting
A lighting fixture is described by its source and its optics. Profile fixtures define shape and edge; washes cover surfaces with colour; moving heads add movement, gobos and motorised zoom; LED battens and panels colour structures, backdrops and architecture. From that come the figures that decide a purchase on the spec sheet: usable output, beam angle, colour temperature, colour rendering index and consistency between units from the same batch.
Control is the other half of the kit. Consoles and nodes govern the whole rig over DMX or over network — Art-Net, sACN — and around it appears everything that supports the system: electrical distribution, splitters and cabling, hook clamps, truss, stands and IP protection for outdoor use. That same hardware is later integrated into permanent installations, where it sits alongside room control and scene management. It is the equipment that underpins both event lighting and stage lighting.
