ISE 2027 registration is now open for visitors to next year’s show, which runs from 2 to 5 February 2027 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via. This edition also brings a change to what a badge covers: on 3 and 4 February it will open the show floors of Spark and EdTech Congress as well, both located at the Montjuïc venue. You can register now through our ISE 2027 Barcelona visitor guide.

The show is organised by Integrated Systems Events, the joint venture of AVIXA and CEDIA. Registration for ISE 2027 opened on 1 October, and the edition is being presented under the theme When Worlds Unite.

Instalia is a media partner of ISE 2027, and our readers can get a free ticket. To register, open our ISE 2027 registration guide and enter the code instaliaeu in the registration form.

What an ISE 2027 badge gives you access to

The core of the show stays where it was: ISE 2027 fills the Gran Via halls for all four days, from Tuesday 2 to Friday 5 February, with the exhibition organised by technology area.

The expansion happens at Montjuïc. As confirmed by the ISE organisers, on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 February an ISE 2027 badge will also get visitors into the show floors of EdTech Congress, focused on education technology, and Spark, ISE’s platform for the creative and production communities, which holds its second edition there.

In practice, a single registration opens three show floors across those two days. The announcement refers to the exhibition areas; access to each event’s content programme is subject to the conditions set out in the official registration.

When Worlds Unite brings AV, IT and creativity together

With this theme, the organisers describe a market in which the lines between professional AV, IT, broadcast, live events, smart buildings and education are increasingly blurred, and in which the most valuable projects emerge where those fields meet.

For the industry, the idea has a very practical reading. Integrators increasingly work on network infrastructure they share with the IT department; IT managers now look after meeting rooms, classrooms and collaboration systems that used to be AV territory; and production teams move between live events, broadcast and immersive formats. Extending the show to Montjuïc, with education and the creative industries alongside, carries that approach onto the venue map itself.

Mike Blackman, Managing Director of Integrated Systems Events, links the theme to the convergence of AV and IT, of technology and creativity, and of established expertise and a new generation of talent. “When Worlds Unite is about the moment we are in, when boundaries are disappearing and new connections are creating new possibilities,” he said. Blackman describes the opening of ISE 2027 registration as the first step towards the show: “Opening registration is the first step, and I would encourage everyone in the industry to be part of it.”
