Event structures are the temporary systems that give a rig its physical form: truss and goalposts, marquees and roofs, stands and pavilions, decking, lifting towers and supports that go up for a set of dates and come down at the end. Professional structures for events and temporary rigs
A temporary rig is designed against the space it lands in: a hall with limited clear height, a square with no anchor points, an exhibition centre with very strict load-in windows. Hence the hardware is modular by definition — standardised truss lengths, roofs of variable span, height-adjustable decking, ballast and base plates where you cannot drill — because the same inventory has to solve venues that bear no resemblance to one another.
Almost everything else hangs off that base: screens, fixtures, sound systems, signage and banners. That means loads and anchor points have to be signed off before the first truck arrives, and wind, rain and evacuation planned for on outdoor builds. Speed of rigging and de-rigging is as real a criterion here as strength: the truss structure you choose determines the hours and the people the event setup demands.
